The Speyside Cooperage

As a side step, an0d to kill of a few morning hours, we decided to visit the Speyside Cooperage. Here are the majority of the Whisky Casks assembled, repaired and remade for the Whisky industry.

From the large parking area it is a short walk to the entrance and reception.

The classic tour will give you a bird's eye view from the gallery into the Cooperage where the live action is taking place.

After the view you can return to the cafe and gift shop.
And afterwards there is some Cask Art to see in the garden of the cooperage.

After this very informative morning we headed to the ultimate destiny of this road trip; The Balvenie Distillery.
